Practical eLearning Skills for Universities

One of the great aspects of our professional development courses is that it brings together people from a diverse range of industries and backgrounds and many are brand new to the eLearning space. We’ve noticed an increasing number of people enrolling from University (Higher Education) and the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors. We are seen as leaders in the eLearning field and people are coming to B Online Learning to gain the practical eLearning skills needed to develop and deliver quality eLearning modules and programs through our MEC and/or our Certified Articulate Training.

For many Universities, the course delivery landscape is changing and is moving beyond the classroom only approach to a more blended or even fully online learning experience. There is also the need for ongoing professional development for those working in the VET sector.

B Online Learning has delivered the Master eLearning Course as well as Certified Articulate Training to many universities and colleges:

  • Victoria University
  • Charles Darwin University
  • Australian Catholic University
  • Curtin University
  • Edith Cowan University
  • Monash University
  • University of Adelaide
  • University of Melbourne
  • University of Sydney
  • University of Technology, Sydney
  • University of Western Sydney
  • University of Wollongong

Exploring the theory underpinning learning, as well as different models and processes that come from higher education studies is an important foundation upon which to build more practical skills – which is where we come in. Our courses provide the hands-on experience that combines eLearning, experiential learning and social learning as part of the one experience. The MEC covers all the phases of an eLearning strategy – definition, design, development and delivery. Our Articulate Certified training goes beyond just software training and covers the development phase as well as some elements of the design phase.

Our trainers, Learning Coaches and team provide support for participants before, during and after the ‘formal’ learning has been completed.  The opportunities to keep learning, connecting and growing don’t end there either as current and former students can join our LinkedIn Alumni, and also come along to our Articulate User Group events which are held at various times and locations and online throughout the year.

For me personally, it’s a great privilege to support and guide people whenever they are on their eLearning journey.
