We’re thrilled to announce that B Online Learning has been recognised with multiple honours at the LearnX 2024 Awards, highlighting our commitment to excellence in eLearning. This year, we won the prestigious Platinum Award for Best eLearning Team for the second consecutive year and secured awards for outstanding eLearning development projects, including Platinum Best Learning and Talent Development (technical skills) for our collaboration with Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd (DBCT P/L) and Diamond Best eLearning Design (video) for our work with Port Macquarie Hastings Council.
The Platinum Award acknowledges our team’s 17 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive learning solutions for diverse industries.
B Online Learning Co-Founder, Rebecca Verity, said she was immensely proud of the achievement, as it’s a testament to their client-focused approach.
“We build a true partnership with our clients, working alongside them, not just for them. We’re a small team but we take the time to truly listen to our client’s requirements and are with them every step of the way as an invaluable extension of their team”.
More about the winning projects
Our partnership with DBCT P/L resulted in a 10-minute eLearning module introducing Microsoft Power BI to its workforce. Developed using Articulate Storyline, the module featured custom animations, interactive elements such as custom-built characters, and audio narration to demystify Power BI’s features for employees with varied technical expertise.
Michelle Miranda, Learning and Development Advisor said the benefits were further reaching than expected.
“Partnering with B Online Learning has seen us meet our training delivery needs along with benefiting our business operationally, financially, and strategically. The content is visually appealing and relatable. It’s been received well across the business, sparking greater conversations about data analytics and future learning opportunities.”
Similarly, our work with Port Macquarie Hastings Council led to a custom Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) eLearning module tailored for a diverse workforce. By leveraging animation, particularly line art, the module simplified complex topics like well-being and first aid, while fostering inclusivity by representing diverse ethnicities, genders, and abilities. The minimalist design transcended cultural barriers, creating a universally engaging learning experience.
Tracy Addison, Port Macquarie Council’s Change Management Lead said “the customised approach has led to a deeper connection with the material, promoting a culture of safety across the organisation. The module not only caters to various learning styles but also deeply resonates with individuals at every level of our organisation. It goes beyond a simple training tool; it’s a thoughtfully crafted, sustainable resource that has become an integral part of our onboarding process and a valuable refresher for our entire staff,” she said.
These achievements underscore B Online Learning’s dedication to creating meaningful, impactful eLearning solutions that empower organisations and learners.
